I spent years swallowing supplements I wasn't sure were actually doing anything.
It wasn't because I didn't care. I cared a lot. I was training regularly, watching what I ate and trying to stay consistent. I just had this nagging feeling that a lot of what I was taking wasn't actually getting through.
It turns out, that feeling was right.
The problem with pills
When you swallow a capsule or a powder, it has to survive your entire digestive system before anything useful reaches your bloodstream. Your stomach acid, your gut lining, your liver all take a cut, so by the time an oral supplement reaches the point where it can actually do something, a significant portion of it has been broken down or lost entirely.
For some ingredients, the absorption rate through oral consumption is surprisingly low. If you look at Magnesium, for example, which is one of the most common supplements people take, it has an oral bioavailability that varies widely depending on the form, and a lot of cheaper formulations pass through with minimal absorption. B vitamins, antioxidants, many of the ingredients people spend really good money on all have the same story.
And even when pills do work, there's usually a spike. A quick rise in your bloodstream, followed by a drop. That's why energy products give you a buzz and then leave you flat. The format creates the crash.
What patches do differently
Transdermal delivery and delivering ingredients through the skin directly into the bloodstream bypasses all of that.
No stomach acid. No gut breakdown. No liver processing before the ingredient gets where it needs to go. The patch delivers directly through the skin, and it does it gradually, over hours, at a steady and controlled rate.
This isn't new science by the way. Transdermal delivery has been used in medicine for decades. Nicotine replacement patches, hormone therapy patches, pain management patches, all of them use the same mechanism because it works reliably and consistently. The medical world has known this for a long time.
What nobody had done properly was build a supplement brand around it.
Why I built TruePatch
I started this because I got tired of not knowing if what I was taking was working. Tired of spikes and crashes and tired of carrying a handful of capsules and hoping for the best.
The science pointed clearly in one direction. So it was simple, I followed it.
TruePatch is built on one idea. That the delivery method matters as much as the ingredient. A great ingredient in the wrong format is a wasted ingredient. We use the format that actually works and we then built a range of patches around the outcomes people actually care about.
Energy. Focus. Recovery. Sleep. Calm. Hangover support.
One patch. Steady release. No pills. No powders. No guesswork.
That's why we switched. And once you try it, you'll understand why we're not going back.
